Favorite trail for Palm Desert locals – savage and potentially dangerous in summer while crowded and temperate the rest of the time. Brutally challenging year round. Great trail.
A typically astonishing Sintra run, this short loop starts from the parking lot by the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Peninha (built from 1502-1557). With stunning Atlantic views, rich Portuguese blue sky and the lush Sintra-Cascais Natural Park this one is worth discovering.
Amazing trail unveiled in 2012 that connects Monsanto Forest Park with Eduardo VII Park through a 2.5 km corridor. It’s the best of green Lisbon and urban Lisbon all in one.
Nice 14k out and back trail that winds up from the heart of Cascais (behind the market) to Sintra National Park. Recently extended renovated (paved) to make it more accessible.
Interesting Monsanto run on the North side of the A5 and past the Panoramico.
